PROSPECT PREVIEW

The Legacy: Brian Runne
Website Link: The Legacy
While Calipso's site is not developed yet, I am eagerly awaiting the first Raider's franchise of the season. The Legacy will follow the career of QB Brian Runne, a character brought over from his NCAA06 game. Based on Calipso's NCAA journal thread, this looks to be an amazing read and a fun franchise to follow.

I have gotten the members page up and running. As I am the only current member, the pickings are kinda slim, however, you can head over to see the members profiles pages. Still not sure if it is a final format, but I have all the time in the world to finalize that.

I added the Franchise Guides page this morning. Currently all I have available to me is Brad's Quick and Dirty Guide to Making a Franchise Website. If anyone out there would like to create more guides, I would be more then happy to put them up. Things I would be looking for would be like "Key's to Building a Smashmouth Football Team", or "How to Keep Your Franchise Realistic". Anything that would be usefull for ballers out there.

Got off work and added the Utilities page. In trying to keep with the simplicity aspect of the site, I feel the page turned out well. I realize I may have missed a good utility, if that is the case, please let me know what one you would like to see added to the list.

The Alliance is Back!

The Madden Franchise Alliance (MFA) is back and ready to blow our previous selves away. When Madden 2005 was released, the MFA saw a steady decline in activity in user franchise sites and real life started getting in the way for those of us who run the MFA. Regardless of what happend, the Alliance was swept under the rug and stay there collecting mold. I am stepping up to bring the Alliance back in full force as it was one of the building blocks of Football-Freaks, and the Freaks probably wouldn’t be around if it hadn’t been for the MFA.

That being said, the Alliance is receiving a major overhaul in all areas. For one the site is being updated and the member base is wiped out. We are opting for a fresh start as it is the most obvious way to remove outdated and inactive members. With the member base starting from scratch, there have been some changes on how sites are going to be added to the mix. Head on over to the forums to see what it now takes for membership to the Alliance.
