Madden Career Toolkit 1.0 Release Notes

Version 1.0 of MADCAT isn't as complete as I would have hoped, but getting it released at all was important to me. Adding new features just kept pushing back the date at which I might be able to release it. When it became possible to release it on Super Bowl Sunday I jumped at the chance, and I've been working hard to get this released before kick-off (even though I know no one will see it until tomorrow, heh).

This documentation, and the organization of the .php files isn't where I'd like it to be, but I'm confident it will be within another version or two. For now, I hope that most users will be able to work with MADCAT in a way that puts a smile on their face instead of a puzzle or frustrated frown.

Things Missing...

The database has columns for the round and position a player was drafted in, but I didn't get around to letting you actually change these in the admin panel. You could easily change them with a generic MySQL frontend, though. Better draft support will be in MADCAT 1.1

Other than player cards, there isn't any output that really takes advantage of MADCAT, yet. Statistical records and other such alamanacy things will make it into upcoming versions.

The sort column is not sorted for the statistical leaders tables. This was just pure laziness on my part. This will be added in the next version.
