After I finish editing the all of the team rosters how do I get Madden 08 to read the new .ros file. Do you have to physically move the roster to a particular folder? Is there a naming convention? (My is simply NFL99.ros for instance)

I notice that there is an option to import teams, should that be used to import the new mod team by team?

Pretty basic stuff, but I can't seem to get a handle on the process.

Thanks for your help!

Look under My documents\Madden 08\Rosters

I believe that's where I put mine last night. Then you go into Madden and use the "File" option, then select the roster file by name and "LOAD". If you do it correctly it will ask to Load Roster and then will bring up the Roster/Player Viewer in Madden.

If your going to play vs a friend have him load the same roster file too and you'll be able to play online with no problems!

just to add to that, make sure you load it up in the game as well...file/load at the main menu and select the file (has to be in the madden 08/rosters directory).

How do you do it for the Mac version? I've looked through the content folders to no avail looking for the roster folder. I even edited the default roster and saved it to make a roster00 and i can't find that anywhere either.

I've been trying to do the same thing as you. Anyone else have answers for the Mac Users?
