Hi all. I'm new here.

I was wondering if I can edit the saved game file to change the numbers of years for the franchise. Currently the limit is 30 seasons (years). I want to change that and keep on playing with the game.

So can anyone tell me what editor I need and which file I need to edit and how to do it? Thanks.

I believe the easiest method for this is to use the converter Franchise to Roster Converter. At the end of the season in year 30 save the franchise. Use the converter to convert the franchise to a roster and start a "new" franchise using the roster file that was created using the converter.

Ok I downloaded the Franchise to Roster Converter and have successfully copied the roster. Now the problem is how to start a new franchise and move over the roster from my old one.

Sorry I'm a noob. Thanks.

Load your converted roster as your current roster.
File -> Load -> [select roster] -> Load
Now start a new franchise. This will start a new franchise using the roster from your original franchise.

That worked. Thanks dawg317!

Now I got another problem. The preseason started fine. However I notice that I'm missing a team. It turns out that one of the teams (the Panthers) relocated and became the Warthogs, the teams is still on the roster but the game is not picking it up, instead replacing the missing team with Free Agents, however the game wont play, either by direct playing or siming it.

So I was wondering why it's not picking up the Warthogs and if I create a custom team would it get picked up?

Thanks.

Ok I found a way to import the "warthogs" using MadWolf. However the program is only used to swap custom teams in, replacing an NFL team. My problem is that because during my previous franchise the Panthers relocated and became a custom created team, so I am missing an team at NFC South.

Anyone know a way to ADD in a team? Cause right now I only have 31 active teams.

Thanks.
