I am not quite understanding the relationship between "create-a-player" and the Franchise mode. I created a player, assigned him to a team, the Panthers, and when I went into Franchise mode (all teams were set to "user" controlled, not "CPU" controlled because I wanted to make "unhindered" trades) and tried to trade for him, he was not on the Panthers at all.

What roster does the "created player" go to.......and what roster does the Franchise mode work from...?

Thanks.....

The player goes to whatever team you assign him to. The franchise mode works on the roster you have recently loaded.

To expand on what yourwindow said...

The rosters are different for each mode. Basically because you can run a franchise with any roster that you load into the game. Superstar mode uses the default roster plus your created "superstar".

Well, I created two players, added them to teams, saving them under a roster I called roster08 (the only other roster listed is called default roster), went to Franchise, found the players and traded them to the teams I wanted.

Then I created another player, called him Test Player, added him to the Lions, .....and then after I saved and exited, and went to Franchise, this player was not found anywhere.

Is there a limit as to how many created players you can create and use...?

Thanks.....

I believe there is but it is definitely more than 3. Strange they don't all show up for you. Unfortunately (fortunately for me) this is something I've not run across. Sorry I can't help further.
