V0.9 will have a Global Editor for all rating attributes with a filter for:

- Every position
- All players
- All players but rookies
- Rookies

...which could come in handy for roster makers, and it could also effectively introduce attribute editing in the same way we treat sliders - I know the ESPN 2K5 boys use an editor to Global Edit every QB to better attributes to get rid of the game's poor CPU QB play.

I recall someone discovering here on FF that if a player with a high injury rating tackles a player with a low injury rating, the chance of injury is greatly enhanced. With this Global Editor, we can give certain positions certain injury ratings - say, DL and OL the same >80, CBs and WRs the same <50 etc....so when a DL tackles a WR, a higher chance of injury will occur, but when a CB tackles a WR, it will be far less likely.

Anyway, you get my idea smile.gif

Sweet, they had global editing back in Madden 2002 (?), the last version before roster editing became insanely difficult.

anyway to get some kind of alphabetical order when you are searching for a player or a coach? just think it would be easier to scroll through a certain order rather than using the search...just a thought

At the moment I can't change the player sorting because TDBAccess works off RecordID, so I have to load the players via their RecordID and save via their RecordID, and if I disturb the original sorting it will mean players are not longer in their correct saving positions, which isn't a good thing smile.gif

I'm working on a way to store each player's RecordID in an array so I don't have to rely on the original sorting to save the to the correct RecordID, but when you involve 12000+ players it will be very taxing on most systems.

changing ownership from cpu to human works fine in V 07 but not in V 08, not complaining just thought I would mention it.
is there any chance that contract years could have a global edit, I hate it when some top stars don`t get re-signed.
